The Distance Learning version of the Investment Accounting Diploma provides an e-learning version of the course. Each student will be provided with access to a Student Support Site (SSS) (http://elearning.investmentaccounting.org.uk/), which provides a platform for students whereby they can access course material and tutor support at any time and any place worldwide.

Once you have enrolled in the Distance Learning course you will be provided with a unique login and password that will enable you to access the site. Within this site, you will be able to;

·         Download all the Course Material, thereby providing  a flexible learning environment tailored to your requirements;

• You will be able to download the Study Guides, Modules, Workshop Exercise and Solutions from the site
• Learning is self-paced allowing you to move through the learning at a pace conducive to your learning style
• Learning is self-directed, allowing you to choose content and tools appropriate to your own needs and skills
• On-demand access means learning can happen precisely when needed – faster delivery cycle
• You are not bound by place - study at home, work, or whilst travelling; Materials can be accessed online or downloaded for reading later
• 24/7 accessibility

·         Personalised  workspace

• You can personalise your workspace by adding any useful web links or;
•  uploading and saving any documents eg revision notes, that you have been working on
• The workspace will also show you your download history so you are always reminded what course notes have already been downloaded and what your progress is

·         Get tutor support from Interactive ‘Forums’      

o    You will be able to post any questions that you have for tutors on a Forum. Tutors will respond to these queries within 5 working days

o    There will be one Forum per subject, and all comments are visible to all other students

o    You can browse Forums to understand common student issues. Often, your questions will already have been answered by tutors and so you get instant help and support

·         Interact with other students worldwide

o    You can interact with each other, share experiences and advice, on a tutor-free Group Forum

o    Creates a positive learning environment - greater student interaction and collaboration

·         Access important information and announcements

o    Exam information and guidance will be posted on the SSS

o    Any important Updates regarding the Diploma will be emailed to you via the inbox on your site

The cost for the Distance Learning Course is £800 (VAT is charged subject to HMRC rules). Please see discount structure applied to multiple bookings

Alternatively, you can approach the Diploma on  a modular basis. This allows you to pay for one module at a time at a cost of £200 plus VAT per module, in any order you wish. You will only be given access to the Course Materials on the Student Support Site for the module that you have paid for. Once you have sat and passed the exams for all 4 modules, you will receive your Diploma in Investment Accounting.
